A flavorful and easy Asian-inspired chicken fried rice recipe.
Ingredients

- 2.5 tbsp Chinese cooking wine
- 1.5 tbsp oyster sauce
- 4 tbsp light soy sauce
- 0.75 tsp sesame oil
- 0.25 tsp white pepper
- 0.25 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 eggs
- 180g chicken breast
- 2 garlic cloves
- 0.5 onion
- 120g bacon
- 1 small carrot
- 0.5 cup corn
- 0.5 cup peas
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 0.75 cup green onions
Instructions
- Combine sauce ingredients.
- Prep ingredients: mince garlic, dice onion and carrot, slice green onions, cut chicken and bacon.
- Scramble eggs, set aside.
- Cook bacon, garlic, and onion.
- Add chicken, cook.
- Add carrot, corn, and peas.
- Add rice and sauce, stir.
- Add eggs and white parts of green onions.
- Serve with green onions.
Notes
- Day-old, chilled rice is best.
- Do not overcook the vegetables.
- Keep whites and greens of green onions separate.
